THREE MORE WAYS to Help

Dedicated to raising significant monies for the National Navy SEAL Museum and Trident House, Legends Invitational has designed other opportunities for groups and individuals to participate in our funding efforts.

1. SUPPORT THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

We have created a scholarship program that has made a world of difference in the lives of the SEAL and Special Forces Communities. Children of SEAs in times of distress are awarded opportunities that simply did not exist for them. We also offer scholarships for Trade Schools. You are welcome to review the individual requests and stay in touch with the recipients to follow their scholastic achievements. Your sponsorship can lead to financial independence for the recipients.

2. SUPPORT THE TRIDENT HOUSE CHARITY PROGRAM

The National Navy SEAL Museum and Memorial Trident House is a tranquil waterfront residence located on the beautiful Indian River in Fort Pierce, Florida. The home serves as a critical and complimentary respite for the families of Special Operators as well as to other military personnel with similar needs. If you, or someone you know, is interested in staying at the Trident House, please contact the Museum for eligibility and availability.

The fully equipped private, peaceful retreat is on the water, allowing guests to enjoy all of the varied beauty Florida has to offer. This serene environment is a powerful de-stressor and is highly conducive to the process of reconnecting families and encouraging healing.

In November of 2012, The Trident House hosted its first family with a very heavy heart. The family had very recently lost their son, who was a U.S. Navy SEAL. He was fighting in the Global War Against Terror in Afghanistan against the same extended group of extremists who took responsibility for 9/11–an event that forever changed the way we live our lives.

After a long day of travel, this first Trident House family arrived at the home (at that time, located in Sebastian, Florida). They immediately found solace in the private, peaceful setting. During their stay, this Gold Star Family attended the Museum’s annual Muster event and received a personal tour of the Navy SEAL Museum and Memorial. The last event of their journey was attending the Sunrise Memorial Service for their son and other SEALs killed in training or combat the same year. The names of the Fallen are engraved into the black granite walls of the Navy SEAL Memorial on the Museum’s grounds each year.

After the emotional ceremony, the spirits of this family began to lift in the understanding that the community truly cares. They also found comfort in knowing that their son’s legacy and sacrifice will forever be honored at the Navy SEAL Museum and Memorial. In parting, the family members each commented about how wonderful their stay was at the Trident House, with plans to return to the Museum’s Memorial as often as possible.

The National Navy SEAL Museum, Memorial and Trident House are not federally funded. We rely on the generous contributions of our patriotic and grateful supporters like you to continue our mission of preserving Naval Special Warfare history, honoring our Fallen at the SEAL Memorial, and caring for those warriors and families through the Trident House Charities Program.

3. CO-PRODUCE A CUSTOM SEAL EVENTS
